another update

Hi again! It's been over the last few weeks, but now we're watching the Olympics and I thought that I would give an update.

So, the purchase of the house closed earlier this month! Unfortunately, we haven't been able to sell our condo, and it appears that no one is interested in it. In fact, our realtor wants to talk to us this weekend and discuss lowering the asking price, which Nick is not a big fan of at all. We might end up renting our condo and waiting for a better time to sell the place.

We went to the UW/UCLA gymnastics meet yesterday and I ran into my old soccer coach, who is the father of Kelly McDonald. He brought me down to their section where I talked to Kelly's mom and we talked about why I was in LA and how I was doing, and what Kelly is going to do after this year...and interspersed throughout our conversation were various "Go __(insert UW gymnast's name)__!" But it was a fun meet. I'm not sure if Nick truly appreciated it, but I enjoyed it, and that's all that really matter :).

Ooh, pairs skating is on right now. Hope all of you are doing well.
