San Diego

Hi! So Nick and I went to San Diego yesterday, and returned today. Nick wanted to see a show in the area, and the show that we originally wanted to see was sold out, so we went to see a different musical located in a city north of San Diego, and discovered that we were the youngest attendees who are not part of a family, and the only gay couple, and I swear I was the only non-white person there. We felt kind of out of place demographically, but the musical was quite good considering that it was a very small production. What was cool was that the set was on a turntable, so when they changed scenes, they would rotate the furniture in and out.

This afternoon, we went to Escondido to see the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park. It's huge, with a whole bunch of different areas. We actually got to see a Siberian Tiger play with a huge rubber ball in a pool of water. There were flamingos, gorillas, many birds, and lions as well, but the tiger was the highlight. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my allergy medicine, so on the drive home, I was sniffly and teary-eyed, and am still so right now.

So I'm going to make this a short blog entry 'cuz I'm about to sneeze. BYE!!!
